I earned my Bachelor's Degree from UAB with a Double Major in Industrial Distribution and Marketing.  I am currently taking courses at UAB to complete the requirements for my Teaching Certificate.  I do hold a teaching certificate, but am required by Jefferson County to complete 4 additional courses to satisfy the curriculum they have set forth. 

 

Before becoming a teacher, I held a sales role within a Manufacturer's Representative company - where I had a dominant role with Customers, Principals (the Regional Managers of the specific Manufacturer), and several other companies to enable our Outside Sales Team to be as profitable as possible!  Needless-to-say, the role I played was extremely significant, and the knowledge I gained was incomparable to anything I had ever experienced before! 

 

When the door opened for me to become a teacher, I jumped on the opportunity!  I have always loved working with young adults and volunteering my spare time - and what a perfect way to combine the two!  My goal this year is to inspire each student to reach for endless opportunities within the business world, and to build their confidence to enable them to do so!  My door is always open, so please feel free to contact me (parent or student) at any time!!
